The I Matter pledge
People need to know the truth that they matter. Truth is, you matter because God created you.
This TRUTH is why we created the I MATTER Pledge. This pledge simply states,
“I choose to live and not end my life because:”
- God created me as an original.
- God created me for relationship.
- God created me to fulfill a purpose.

About Dean Sikes

Dean Sikes speaks hope.
Since 1993, Dean has spoken at over one thousand nine hundred events, in nine nations of the world, with audiences that exceed 1.3 million people. In addition to his road schedule, Dean is a published author who, to date, has written sixteen books for teenagers and their parents.
In November of 2010, Dean was led to Proverbs 24:11. The more he read this verse, the more Dean knew what he was being led to do. In January of 2012, what Dean had read in the book of Proverbs was now a mission that would require the remainder of his ministry to fulfill.
Today, Dean continues in the full time pursuit of this mission where he is reaching 20 million people with a message that boldly declares, YOU MATTER.
On average, Dean speaks at 120 events annually.
Together with his wife Lori and their three children, the Sikes family make their home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
